The distance to the beach and the village of Stavromenos is 8 km away, where super markets, taverns, bars and restaurants are available. The town of Rethymnon is 18 km away. The antiquities of the ancient town of Eleftherna and the Monastery of Arkadi are in a distance of 3 and 9 km accordingly. The nearest port is in Rethymnon and the nearest airport is in Heraklion, in a distance of 75 km.
